1. He Wore a T Shirt Decorated With Ellie’s Face
After Goulding performed at Glastonbury on June 29, she posted this Instagram picture with the caption, “Found a fan.”
When Poynter was interviewed for the documentary Fearne and…. McBusted, he was asked about whether or not he is in a happy relationship.
He responded, “Yeah, all is good in that area as well,” said Dougie. “I don’t know how much I like talking about it, but yeah, all is good. All is very, very good.”
2. He’s in a Band
When he was 15, he joined the British pop band McFly as a singer and guitarist.

3. Ellie Confirmed They’re Dating on TV
In the video above, when she was interviewed on Alan Carr Chatty Man, she said, “Errr, he’s my man friend..Boyfriend, traditionally.”
She continued, “He is a very lovely human being.”
Before that declaration, she denied having a significant other.
In fact, in the April issue of Cosmopolitan, she said, “…that’s why I’m single now. I’ve realized I don’t need a guy. I’ve got amazing, awesome, stupid friends in the best way possible.”
4. His Ex Is Also a Singer

Poynter dated Frankie Sanford of the band The Saturdays.
After getting together in January of 2009, they had broken up in February of 2010, and again in November of the same year, both times because Sanford wanted out of the relationship.
He told the Daily Mail, “Of course I was gutted about the break-up. It was totally unexpected and I really thought things were going well between us. It was bad timing just before Christmas too.”
5. He Has a Clothing Label
Named Saint Kidd, it’s website describes the brand as “the brainchild” of Poynter.”
It was established in 2011 and sells t shirts and jewelry for men and women.
